TRAINING - TEACHING - BOARDING

BOARDING - Full board only, $400/a month. We have eight  acres of pasture, fenced with safe electric rope and maintained daily. We use rotation and strictly limit our herd size, so have no problems with overgrazing. Our grass is healthy, happy and rich. Your horse will have access to their own stall, and either hay or grass 24/7. Feed and hay are included, as well as mineral. There is a lighted riding arena available, as well as tack storage.  Owner lives on sight, so your horse will receive excellent supervision and care.

LESSONS - Lessons are with an AOHC certified clinic instructor with over 30 years of teaching experience, with an emphasis on safety and a firm foundation, and a solid, well balanced seat. We welcome beginners to advanced riders of any seat, ages eight and up. Lessons available on our horses or yours. You will be challenged to become a better rider in every aspect of horsemanship- from gentle hands and balanced seat, to horse care and stewardship. Rates are $180 a month for private and semi-private lessons (paid monthly). Extra fees apply for off-site lessons.

TRAINING - Breaking, schooling, or finishing your horse for any seat. Training for endurance trails, showing, barrels, jumping, or even just basic manners and behavior. With over 30 years experience in training and teaching, we specialize in training the horse and rider as a unit, creating a willing team that can enjoy working together.

HORSES FOR LEASE - Horses available for full to partial lease for reasonable prices, which include lessons at least once a month.

SOAP FOR SALE - Our home-made goat milk soap comes in a variety of scents and shapes, in single bars or gift sets. Our soap is made from goat cream, which makes it richer and more moisturizing than most goat milk soaps out there. We use our own fresh goat milk/cream, and a special blend of vegetable, olive, palm oil, and in some bars, cocoa butter. Most of our scents are made with natural "essential" oils, and our exfolients are all natural, such as pumice, oat, or walnut shell. They have a rich lather, a clean feel without the normal film of store-bought bars soaps, and our customers agree they last and last!

BEGINNER SOAP MAKING CLASSES - This class costs $30 per person, and will teach a quick, easy soap making process that anyone can do. Each student will go home with a two-bar soap sample from the soap made that day, as well as a working knowledge of soap making. Class schedule is posted on our calendar. Beginner soap making classes can also be scheduled for your family or group of at least five people at your location or at my home at your convenience. (Home school and 4-H special packages available).

"NEXT STEP" SOAP MAKING CLASSES - This class costs $45 per person, and is available for those who have already begun by learning a cold process. It will teach a simple "hot process", showing students what to look for in the stages of their process to make successful hot process soap. We will also go into the use of other oils, using sugars, honey, salt, fragrance vs. essential oils, and other "next step" hints and helps for soap making.
