Freedom's Ring Stables

We are located ten miles south of the Virginia/North Carolina border, one mile off route 168. With eight acres of pasture, available riding arena and round pen, knowledgeable horse care, riding and horse training, we may be just the place you've been looking for...

Horse boarding- full board including free choice hay and plenty of pasture, feed, mineral, and access to a stall. We use field rotation and strictly limit our herd, so overgrazing is not a problem. Riding ring (with solar lighting) and round pen available for use, as well as tack storage. Within easy distance of riding trails at Northwest River Park.

If your show-horse needs a touch-up, your young rescue needs to be broken to saddle, or anything in between, we can help. Our trainer has over 30 years of training experience in breaking, polishing, and corrective techniques.

Our training philosophy and techniques are geared to teaching the horse, not forcing them, and creating a good working relationship between horse and rider. Proper communication and consistency are a must, as well as helping the horse learn to have as much fun as their rider!
